Philippa is a highly experienced physiotherapist, having worked with adult and paediatric clients for over 18 years. Over the past 10 years, Philippa has worked specifically in the area of paediatrics with a focus on children with presentations of developmental delay and cerebral palsy. She is committed to providing children with holistic support to help them reach their therapeutic goals and values, working alongside speech pathologists and occupational therapists as part of a transdisciplinary team.
Observing gaps between the needs of individual patients she was working with and the supports offered by our health systems led Philippa to further her study with a Masters of Public Health. Philippa has a strong understanding of our health systems and is able to support children and families to successfully navigate these increasingly complex pathways. Her combined skills in physiotherapy and public health have led her to work in clinical, non-clinical and health project roles.
Philippa is passionate about providing children with the right environments to thrive- physically, cognitively and emotionally- and working in partnership with families, educators and health professionals to achieve this. Philippa enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her family and has two children who she loves being silly with.
